Israel news

For the second time this year, there has been a broadly positive report on Messianic Jews on mainstream Israeli TV. Channel 2's February report on Yeshua Superstar has been followed by a Channel 10 report, here (about 12 mins long, in Hebrew with English subtitles). Though Israel is clearly a long way from the revival for which all Christians should long, it is nevertheless encouraging that the plight of Israeli MJs has attracted the broad sympathy of Israel's secular media.

(Note: Jesus is sometimes referred to in the programmes as "Yeshu", a derogatory Hebrew acrostic for "Yimach schmo u'zichro", meaning "May his name and memory be blotted out". His proper Hebrew name is "Yeshua", meaning "salvation".)

Thanks for posting the link to this further Israeli t.v. program regarding Messianic Jews. It was notable and almost shocking in the fact that, even more than was the case in the previous blurb, it seemed to be solidly behind the Messianic Jews. It was also good to see Baruch Maoz on the program, though we'll have to bring his daughter before the Lord.

Indeed. I discovered today that the C10 programme was actually last year.

Woah! I'm really enjoying the template/theme of this blog. It's simple, yet effective.

A lot of times it's challenging to get that "perfect balance" between user friendliness and visual appearance. I must say you've
done a awesome job with this. In addition, the blog loads very quick for
me on Firefox. Outstanding Blog!
